Things You Did or Did Not Know About Me

1. I recently drink alot of milk. Yes, full cream milk.

2. I did not stop using the milk bottle until I was Standard 2. =X

3. I found out I did not hand in my Math homework 16 out of 36 times.

4. I really like working as a waitress. I wouldn't mind working as one again. I like the feeling of serving people, making them feel happy (: and also preparing food. But I hate washing dishes.

5. When I'm alone, I stare in the mirror a lot and wonder whether I'm pretty.

6. I have a fear of elevators and their doors. I have have HAVE to be the first to go in so I know the door won't close on me. Otherwise, I'll just stone in front of the door until someone assures me he's holding the 'open door' button.

7. If there's one cartoon character people say I resemble, its Bubbles. =.=

8. The most stupid thing I did with an iPhone (that made me a laughing stock until today) : I played this application where you're supposed to run your fingers along the screen but I took the whole iPhone and ran down the lane. =__________= YES LAUGH.

9. I secretly want to keep my hair long so I can go casting for a hair advertisement one day. Like Sunsilk or something!

10. I think my ugliest asset is my nose. =.= Then comes tummy.

11. My favourite skincare/body care/soaps/shampoos/facial care brand is still, and always will be, Body Shop. (:

12. The best action movie to me is the first Transformers movie.

13. One day, when I'm rich and famous, I'm going to open a cafe. A pweetee cafe on the corner of the street, with the main dessert being strudel. (: with Parisian music playing in the background.

14. Contrary to my personality, I really like relaxing at home. My ideal thing to do would be reading a good book, listening to The Four Seasons, and playing with my imaginary dog (since the real one died)

15. I really, really, really like recieving birthday presents. I'm not hinting anything (or maybe I am) but the feeling of recieving presents is just very warming and delightful.

16. My favourite ice cream flavour is Goma. That means black sesame. (:

17. I am adventurous can die. Do not doubt this statement. I really am. I do most things other girls would not dare to do. Try me. (:

18. I am not a naturally sociable person. I only talk to my circle of friends, and I don't make friends so easily. I usually only know people through people. Which is, abit sad at times. Makes me like some introvert :(

19. I have a love-hate relationship with long distance jogging. I started out because i wanted to get a medal in Cross Country. I did, but during the whole process, I discovered its actually really fun to jog like that. Soon after, I just got too lazy. =X

20. I have a passion: debating. HAHAHA.

21. Favourite honeymoon destination (provided I marry a well-to-do husband) : Bora Bora Island in the French Polynesia.

22. I live for Tabasco.

23. One kind of noodles I dislike is yellow mee. The mee goreng kind. I puke at the taste of it.

24. Actually right, I'm such a simple person. Thats why I'm abit stuck already, there are not many things about me.

25. I really really want to drive a Bugatti Veyron one day.

26. Careers I have considered before: Marine biologist, chef HAHAHA, fashion designer, interior designer, (alot of designing jobs until I figured I just had no artistic talent), wedding planner (because I played this computer game called Wedding Dash), cake decorator (after working in a cake shop), doctor, lawyer, psychologist, and finally I settled with something in the Business department lah. =.=

27. The hit phrase I've been using lately: CAN DIE.

28. When I was younger, I ate Pasta Carbonara until can die. Soon, I got so bored of it, I tried all sorts of pasta with red sauces instead of white creamy Carbonara. Now when I see Carbonara, I shudder.

29. I want to look like an ancient greek goddess when I get married. Very pure and virginal hahaha what on earth.

30. I really like sleeping. I have liked it for the past 16 years and I'm quite certain I'll never stop liking it.

Goodnight.

I Used To Be Love Drunk

There was this period of time last year, when ChenLynn used to tell me she was afraid she's bipolar. That means, having really irregular moodswings. I fear it has happened to me. Just last night, I was quite happy, maybe because it was Shuz' birthday (and the Haagen Dasz cake) last night, but today I can't seem to lift my spirits up. I'm not unhappy or anything, just moody. Or more of moodless.

On a sidenote: I feel like a loser. I have been having a Facebook account for more than a year, and I've been fiddling with it for the past 30 minutes, but I still do not know how to upload a picture. Awzum.

And all my bones hurt.
So much being the Giant.

The Julies.

July babies = Julies!

Today is Shuz' birthday!
We surprised her at home after tuition!
And drank Choya and ate Haagen Dasz cake =D
So happy!!

I wish Shuzie Wuzie the best in life,
may she grow more Cleopatra like each day,
smarter and prettier with every coming day.

I love my awzum awzum Shuzie!!

Today is also Zean's birthday!
Zean, my debate senior!
I pray you grow cuter and more intellectual each day,
and be blessed in whatever you do!
And sprinkle your fairy Godmother love in everything you do!

Last but not least,
Michelle Anne Leong's birthday is this Thursday.
However, she had an awesome little lunch gathering last Sunday.
Italiannies. We ate like never before.
I still dream of the smoked salmon pizza.
Thank you awzum Michelle!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY THE JULIES SO FAR!!!
:D

Hair-Raising Event

*title given by Rachel Gan

I have this sudden dissatisfaction with Ng Chong Sheng.
I have no idea, but he just gives me this aura.
This..... 'loser' aura.
Who goes around commenting on my photos and say OMG SO UGLY.
or OMG SO WEIRD.
or OMG YOUR HAIR SO MESSY CAN DIE.
Its like MY HAIR lah what on earth.
And my hair LIKES to be messy.
So DEAL with my hair, make PEACE with my hair.
Because my hair awzum can die.

So right,
MY HAIR REIGNS AND TRIUMPHS OKAY.

To prove my point, I shall purposely show a picture of my. HAIR.

Okay lah.
Not thaaaaaaaaat awzum.
More of like this.
I'm the one in purple. =.=
MY HAIR VERY BAD MEH T.T
ChongSheng commented on this photo like CRAP.
HE CALLED ME A GHOST FOR GOODNESS SAKE.
I'm gonna haunt him at night.

But back to the main issue lah.
Its like T.T my photos really got problem ar?
I feel depressed. Thanks to Ng Chong Sheng.
I'm going to go home and cry.
So I'll make him feel bad (:
Oh, it was supposed to be :(

IDIOT.

Just when I thought today was a happy day.
I told EVERYONE it was a happy day.
You had to come and turn things around.
You had to come ruin my happy day.
You had to come giving me tears.
You had to come make me sleepless tonight.

You know what?
I will sleep.
Because I'm tired.

A String of Delightful Things

(: today is a happy day.
Albeit some disappointing moments :(
But even those can't pull me down.

Okay, let me tell you the happy things that happened to me today.
Some of these involves bragging here and there,
but you know. I'm happy! (: (: sue me.

Today, when I got to school and into class, I noticed the too familiar piece of paper being passed around. Its the stupid class position for midterms paper =.= I don't know whether that piece of paper has some sort of holy power or magnetism, but there was this whole crowd surrounding that one piece of paper. Naturally, when there's a crowd, I'll go and have a look. Oh (: I got the same placing as last term. I'm just glad I did not drop. Lucky number 13 (:

Next, during English period there was this Hangman game. Before I get on to the happy part, just read the conversation below.

Chairmaine was giving hints to the Hangman word.

"Oh... It's uhh. It's a mosque! A temple like place!! In Thailand, I think! Yeah!!"

So we were all trying to figure out what mosque is in Thailand =_____________=

Then ChenLynn randomly said

TAJ MAHAL !!!

Then Chairmaine goes CORRECT!
=_____________= We just stared at her for a few seconds.
HAHAHAHAHAHA next time go to Thailand and take a picture of TajMahal the mosque! :D

Hahaha just some random funny thing.

But anyway, we won the Hangman thing! And our group gets RM40! So each person gets about RM6.50. HOW COOL IS THAT? Hey, RM6.50 is alot okay. =.= Can buy curry laksa.

Oh, and then right (: BookFair today at school! There were two very awzum, very nice people who lent me money to buy my 3 books (: (: God loves me!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST,

My dearest Chinese Tuition Teacher, just texted telling me tonight's class has been cancelled because he has some emergency meeting (:

AM I HAPPY OR WHAT??

And I'm still reading The Godfather happily :) awesome book. I have a thing for the Mafia.

Who wants to take me out for a movie T.T i plead to you all.
I also want lite 'n sweet popcorn from GSC. The best. LOL
I don't fancy Caramel popcorn.

2. The Proposal
3. Harry Potter! (apparently its the best installment yet)
4. Obsessed
5. Up!!
6. Night at the Museum 2 (outdated much? -.-)
7. I wanna watch alot of Gossip Girl too!

Oh.... Thats it? =.=

Oh well, I'm gonna be watching 17 again soon so that's one movie =D
At least I'm doing something productive today!

July 16, 2009

Sweet.

Oh, the new poll's going to be up.
:D Sort of inspired by Rachel.
So, what is a walking comedian?

A walking comedian is someone who does not need to speak,
and still end up funny and making people laugh.

I get comments saying, people laugh just by looking at my expression.

=.= so i want to know.

Don't Let Me Go.

You know how young naive teenagers don't seem to trust what their parents say?
Like when they say don't get into relationships,
but you never believe what they say?
You'd think they're just saying that so you focus on your studies.
You'd think that there is no justification for them to say that.
You'd think that you're smart enough to conquer all obstacles.

Yes, I thought they were lying.

Turns out, we don't live in an idealistic fairytale.
I now understand when people say don't get tied down.
At least not at this age.

Its a grown up game, not meant for me yet.
Til then, I'll wait and enjoy life now.

Everybody Sing A Song

KDUDA! KDUDA 2009.

Basically, its an interschool debate challenge organised by KDU's Debate Association.
This also happens to be a competition where I put alot of hope and dreams and effort in.
Ultimately, because of one person.
If you're close to me, you'll probably know who is she.
Yes, its a woman =.= A woman I don't like.
A woman who looked down on me.

So, it started out shaky.
With rigorous trainings everyday during school hours, and even after school, we did our best and practiced for four days straight. As the days go by, there was this certain tension, pressure in the air. Every day, I would be talking to my teammates or my coach on debate. We worked hard.

If you want full details on the debate, head over to WenMin's.
Cause I so lazy lah. LOL
Basically, I managed to achieve something I wouldn't have even imagined.
And I just want to make a thank you speech here on my blog.
For every single individual who helped, contributed, adviced.

First, thank you to all my seniors, and all the debating people.
You guys are like super role models.
The people we all look up to (: thank you.

I also want to thank my teammates yo!

Rachel Gan
The whip. :D

WenMin.
The studious 2nd speaker.

My awzum team, with an adjudicator for one of the rounds.

I also want to thank lah Lim Yuli Tweety.
For being somehow there always during debate.
During the good and bad times.

Almost lastly.
Must thank lah the awzum CHS coach.
With all his intense training, even though he could be in Kolkata.
Must give him credit.
Ian Beh, we all thank you.
I thank you.
Like I said, you'll always be the best coach I had, and will ever have.
(:
And like Peter and James also!
BUT I DON'T HAVE PICTURE T.T

Of course, lastly.
Thank you, lady.
I hope you like me more now.

She Uses Black Magic

Exams are over.
For now (: Wah so happy.
Happy birthday, WENMIN!
Brought her to try the mixed berries meringue in Alexis, Bangsar today.
Awzum.

Came back.
Too lazy to do anything,
except watch Leverage.
AWZUM SHOW.
Very interesting.

Then I played this Facebook game.
Typing Maniac.
WAH LAGI AWZUM.

Life's awzum.
Despite people not always being nice. :(
Oh well.

June 18, 2009

Onions.

Ah, of Onion News and McDonalds.
:) Such a wonderful way to destress.
Especially after a horrible exam paper.
Namely, Additional Mathematics.

I'm consoling myself with what my classmate said.
'It's normal to get a single digit mark for addmath second term.'

Treated myself to fried chicken and french fries.
I try to enjoy life, even when Chinese is tomorrow.
And that sort of spells doom. :) :)

Busy Saturday ahead, then its Dad's Day.
Then its Monday.
Oh I love this upcoming Monday :)
Sweet smell of examinations ending. How awesome.

The Sweet Things in Life

... are meant to be savoured. :)

SINGAPORE PART 2
So, after an interesting first day which included shopping, bungee jumping, eating, and a little drinking, came the second day. :D

So Rachel, WenMin, Kim and I took the MRT to Harbour Front. From there we proceeded to Sentosa by shuttle bus ($3).

We were at the Sentosa Shuttle Station, doing the customary 'pose with the bus stop sign' before proceeding to Sentosa. We went for the Extreme Log Ride, The Luge and Skyride, some airbrush tattoo thing (which I now realise, is a conjob) . Yeah basically, we tried out 3 things only. Because Sentosa is a crazy expensive place!

Oh and halfway through, we met ChenLynn who was in this shuttle bus to go meet the pink dolphins. Surprising though, meeting her there, cause we couldn't keep in contact with her.

After spending about $30 plus, we headed to Siloso Beach. Wanted to try out the Flying Trapeze but the place was booked for some kid's birthday. :( Oh well.

Siloso Beach is pretty decent actually. Picturesque, with coconut trees and white sand and all.

Of course, what can 4 girls do on a beautiful beach? :)

WenMin spotted a crab! O.O

Kimberly auditioning for Baywatch ;)

Imagine me asking 'why is the sand sandy?'
Then look at my expression.

Some sort of painfully constipated jump.

Don't like Rachel. >=/
She always jumps the nicest.

HAHA WEN MIN HAHA I'm a rockstar!

Baywatch babe and I!

we have this thing for jump shots.

Starfish jump by Kim.

SEE WHAT I MEAN? WENMIN BIAS. TAKE SO NICE FOR HER.

Yeap. Left Sentosa at about 8 plus.
Ate at a simple Japanese restaurant in Vivo City.
Went back to Kim's house after that (:
That wraps up day 2.

Someone Hates Me

Click to enlarge and you'll understand my misery.
Someone hates me.
I know it.

3 YEARS?!
T______T

By that time, Sims4 would be out already.
Oh leave me alone to rot and die.

Testing

… Windows Live Writer.

Singapore: Part One

Can’t believe I found this interesting thing after so long. My connection can go fry itself like a sunny side up for all I care, if it continues to disconnect every 5 seconds. SERIOUSLY!

Anyway, Wen Min has uploaded some of Singapore’s photos! All photos credits to WenMin and her awesome Canon.

Shall let the pictures bercakap-cakap (:

First day in Singapore. Headed to Din Tai Fung, Paragon for lunch. Bill was on PoPo, Kim’s grandmother :) Later headed to this shop called Tango Mango (again, if not mistaken), bought souvenirs here.

Outside Paragon. :D We just like to have fun.

At Clark Quay. As you can observe in the picture, the four girls show clear happiness through their smiles and are in a euphoric state of mind. Why? Just check out the shopping bags. As I say this, emphasize on Rachel Gan.

Clark Quay in the early evening. Malaysia should so have a place like this. Exciting ambience, fancy bars and restaurants, hot Caucasians. :D What’s there not to like?

At a mall toilet by Clark Quay. Usual girls doing their usual thing (:

G-Max Bungy. Awzum ride. A must-try if you visit Singapore, or I won’t befriend you =.= It is THAT awzum.

Anyway I sat the bungy with Rachel. And this funny thing happened.

Carmen Rachel Bungy Operator

So, do you guys want a surprise launch or a countdown?

Countdown, pleaseee.

Why countdown? No fun. Surprise!

Countdown T__T

Surprise!!!

COOUNTDOOWWWNNN!!!

Sur….

*Bungy launches up in air. =.=

Headed over to IndoChine: The Forbidden City in Clark Quay after the Bungy Ride. Restaurant and Bar with nice ambience, fancy deco. 3 of us skipped dinner and opted for a round of drinks and dessert (Mango Sticky Rice) while Kim had KueyTeow.

… and that’s what we did for the first day. (:

Last Piece of Ritz Biscuit

Hello!
Next poll is up!
Street smart as in, well.
I know how to prevent myself from getting kidnapped, or raped, or stalked, or murdered and stuff like that. I know what's a dangerous situation, and I won't put myself in situations that will harm myself. I know how to deal with scary people who look like they're gonna do something to you. That kind of thing.

What do you think?

Anyway, came back from SuperCamp last week. A day after that, left for Singapore the LionCity. I'm currently waiting for pictures from Rachel and WenMin so I can elaborate more.

Well, the holidays are over. I guess I have to start studying. But... Wait a minute.

One more thing.

This is David Garrett.
He is very sexy.
So sexy, he persuaded Rachel, Kim and I to buy his album.
Out of thousands of other pop albums in That Cd Shop.
I bought a violin album =_______=
This proves he got power lor.

Sexy right!

The Truth Hurts, The Lies 're Worse

You can't play on broken strings.
You can't feel anything,
that your heart does not want to feel.

- Broken Strings, by James Morrison & Nelly Furtado.

Great song.
Awesome lyrics.

Its the last chance to feel again.
James Morrison is a genius.
I bet he knew how to cope with exam stress.

Under Pressure

Okay.
Take a look at the picture.
Grossed out? Disgusted? Feel like killing those people who did that?
Well, the picture is just one side of the story.

It's the killing of seals, an annual event in Canada.
Animal rights organisations protest over this event every year too. Why?
Okay, not ALL animal rights organisations. Lets take PETA.
Yes, PETA the organisation that encourages people to protest on the streets naked.
Yes, that PETA.
PETA says its cruel to skin the seals.

Why don't they go protest not to skin cows? Not to break chicken necks?
300,000 seals get mauled every year,
but seals in the Canadian coast are overpopulated.
If seals are going to be extinct, fine protest for all I care.
But the very fact is, seals are overpopulated.
Seals are eating up so many fishes that the fishermen have nothing to fish =.=
The way chickens and cows and pigs are slaughtered are way worse than this.
Thats why I say its not cruel to kill seals.

One reason people protest is because seals are cute. Kawaii. QQ. Comel.
Just because seals are cute doesn't mean its cruel to kill them.
Its just the human nature that thinks cute animals should not be killed.
Although I agree that the pictures are just toooo cute,
that you don't really want to kill them :/
For example,

Which of those two would you rather see killed?
The bottom is actually the Purple Frog. An endangered species.
Its 5% of the seal population.

And which one would you kill?

p.s. I'm also doing this to prove I'm not a bimbo lah. =D
